Barn Owl and Moon
Barn Owl and Moon celebrates my mother Anita’s life-long enchantment with owls. For Anita the sight of an owl signalled the imminent arrival of a guest – something to look forward to. She delighted in owls as silent, stealth-hunters with supernatural hearing and vision.
Family members reported sighting owls for weeks after Mom died. Some still imagine she has come to visit when an owl calls out in the night.
